What makes the House a Home? Home is where the heart is. It’s so much more than the four walls and roof over our head. Being forced to move your family far from home, work, school and your entire support network due to a child’s illness is extraordinarily tough.
Ronald McDonald House is a unique place where families can feel comfortable, loved and protected while they are away from home.
61 families and their sick kids will spend this Christmas at Ronald McDonald House Nedlands
What stands out most is the amazing support your gifts made possible at Ronald McDonald House. You helped us gather strength and courage to face what was to come next.
The care we received was everything we needed – from healthy meals to a
comfortable bed, and fantastic Christmas celebrations that took our minds off things.
Every conversation with staff, volunteers and other families at Ronald McDonald House was supportive… which is what we needed most – Neen, Ellie’s mum
Only with your help, can we make the House their home.

You can help us recruit and train a dedicated and caring volunteer team to keep the House running smoothly.
Restoring routines – thanks to you, our families will have a fully equipped kitchen and laundry service, so life feels a little more normal.

Your gift will help family members stay active through access to a Teen Den, outdoor play area and gym.
At the toughest times, you provide critical wellbeing support for families.
Your amazing donation will ensure exhausted families can experience fun, distraction and relaxation in our dedicated Family Rooms in Perth Children’s Hospital.
61 families will be staying at the House this Christmas. With your help, every family can feel the joy and peace that Christmas brings.
Please help keep our families together at Christmas and every day of the year.
I’m so excited to let you know Ellie is doing well. We are back home together, and I know our Christmas morning this year will be extra joyful.
But I’ll also be thinking of the families with sick kids who have no choice about where they’ll wake up on Christmas Day. These families deserve all the love, comfort, security in the world.
Please donate this Christmas to help make Ronald McDonald House a home for families like ours who need it now – Neen, Ellie’s mum
