Ride For Sick Kids

The tires are turning for WA’s sick kids.

Now in its twelfth year, the 2024 Ride for Sick Kids WA will see a peloton of forty determined riders journey through the South West during May to raise funds for WA families with sick or injured kids. The annual four-day ride will include visits to country communities who are reliant on RMHC WA services due to impacts of a child’s illness.

Enthusiastic participants from all walks of life, including McDonald’s WA Licensees, will come together from January to commence training to prepare for the over 500 km cycling journey. In 2023, the peleton raised $422,067 to help RMHC WA continue to support WA families with sick kids.

In 2024, the Ride For Sick Kids committee aims to raise in excess of $390,000.

RMHC WA are proud to receive support from our Mission Partner, McDonald’s, who annually raises significant funds for this event through individual fundraising and through the sale of the popular $2 paper bike fundraiser in McDonald’s stores.
