Adopt A Room
This annual funding contribution is dedicated to supported accommodation for WA families with ill or injured children, in our Ronald McDonald House at QEII, Ronald McDonald House on Park or Ronald McDonald House in PCH.
Adopt a Room support ensures families have quality accommodation including access to 24/7 support staff, home-cooked meals, wellbeing programs and play and learning programs.
Thanks to our Adopt a Room supporters, WA families are kept close together during difficult times.
Ronald McDonald House at QEII and Ronald McDonald House on Park
By adopting a room at Ronald McDonald House at QEII and Ronald McDonald House on Park, you can provide a family with a safe haven, the opportunity to recharge and get the rest they need so they can offer the strongest support possible to their child.
Our impact reporting tells us that helping families stay together at a critical and fragile time in their lives eases the burden of their difficult journey and helps a child heal faster.
By adopting a room, you can help keep families together and close to the medical care their child needs.
“It’s a true home away from home, a place where you can recharge your batteries after full days at the hospital, a hot meal which you don’t have to cook, and a safe haven for the boys to treat it like a second home. It has helped us immensely and financially over the years, not having to pay for accommodation as we have no family in WA (or anywhere in Australia)``.

Ronald McDonald House in PCH
RMHC WA manages a 14-bedroom parent accommodation facility on Level 5 at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). By adopting a room in Ronald McDonald House in PCH you will be supporting a room for families whose children are in acute care. The Ronald McDonald House in PCH provides both metropolitan and regional families a place to rest their head whilst their child is in the intensive care unit, so they can always be with them at such a critical time.
Adopting a room means you are supporting the needs of families with critically unwell children, breastfeeding mothers of sick babies, emergency unplanned admissions, parents of transplant patients and those from rural and remote areas.
