Staying with RMHC WA
Ronald McDonald House Charities WA helps families stay together, and close to the medical care they need, far from home. The Houses are a warm and supportive home away from home for families of children travelling to Perth’s Children’s Hospital or King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Rooms can be booked by calling Ronald McDonald House Charities WA. Alternatively you can contact your local Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS) office, or your Social Worker.
Who’s eligible to stay?
Our primary goal is to provide safe and reliable short and long-term accommodation for families who need to travel away from their homes to receive medical treatment at Perth Children’s Hospital or King Edward Memorial Hospital.
Fees
We understand that being away from home for medical treatment can put families under financial pressure. That’s why our accommodation is free for eligible families with ill or injured children or maternity patients.
While our policy is to provide free accommodation, your stay at Ronald McDonald House Charities WA will require you to complete the relevant Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATs) paperwork. Our friendly team are happy to work with you to complete this paperwork during your stay. Contact us for further information.
